The story of Casamigos seems to have come from a film script and, not surprisingly, the protagonist is George Clooney: the actor is in Mexico with his friend Rande Gerber, husband of Cindy Crawford. They both share a passion for tequila and often find themselves together to taste this distillate without finding the perfect one to brighten up their evenings with friends: so they decide to create it. At this point in the script, the figure of the Jalisco distiller takes over who, after 800 test bottles of various sugary distillates, finally finds the perfect balance for their tequila. Soon Casamigos would become a Hollywood star.
The strong artisan imprint and the long process represent the preponderant notes of this tequila, which can be enjoyed without salt and lemon. The soft taste of the drink makes it perfect in all its nuances: the Blanco version, fresh with notes of citrus, vanilla and sweet agave characterized by a long and pleasant finish; the Reposado, aged 7 months, soft, lightly barriqued with notes of caramel and cocoa; the Añejo, aged 14 months, with a frank and complex aroma of caramel and vanilla is the perfect balance between the sweetness of the Blue Weber agave and the spicy notes of the wood.
