The Zorzettig company was born on the wonderful Friulian hill of Spessa di Cividale, in the heart of Friuli Colli Orientali, an area that has always been suited to the cultivation of vines.

With over a century of tradition, the Zorzettig company now owns the oldest vines of all Friuli Venezia Giulia, vines of eighty years that the family has always cultivated with the utmost care and attention.

The Myò line is the winning bet of Annalisa Zorzettig, who is now the head of the company. These are mono-varietal wines that embody the characteristics of Spessa, the specificity of the varietals and the ability to excite: «Myò is a term extrapolated from a verse of the oldest Friulian ballad, composed in Cividale del Friuli in the first half of the 14th century. Four stanzas in which a young lover compares his woman to his land, both loved more than anything else. And Myò wants to be a direct reference to the Friulian land, its traditions, its rites. The new line is the result of choral and passionate work, which is why it symbolizes for us the family and the affections ».

The same label, which represents a typical animal of these lands (which changes for each type) under a glass, wants to witness a sort of protection against nature and in the specific case of animals.

Among the Myò wines, Friuli Colli Orientali Pinot Bianco is reconfirmed as one of the best friluani whites having once again obtained the prestigious recognition of the Tre Bicchieri del Gambero Rosso also in the 2016 vintage recently available on the market .
