It was 1855 when Austin Nichols began selling wine and spirits as a wholesale grocer, but he probably did not imagine that the business he started would later become Wild Turkey . Founded in 1869 in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky , by the Ripy brothers , Wild Turkey was born as a family distillery and, with this name, becomes synonymous with high-level American Whiskey .

The distillates are produced from rye and wheat of the highest quality , with water from the Kentucky River , following a production process that has remained unchanged for over 160 years . The whiskeys mature in the legendary "Alligator" , a precious white American oak with the highest degree of roasting in existence, where the bourbon acquires those characteristics that make it simply unique.
