Voliero is the company created by Andrea Cortonesi, with the aim of enhancing the different terroirs of Montalcino. The vineyards are located on the hills of Castelnuovo dell'Abate, at altitudes ranging between 150 and 350 meters above sea level

Andrea Cortonesi is the only child of a family of sharecroppers. From an early age he helped his father in the vineyard, worked in the vineyards and in all the countryside activities. Thanks to his passion and the people he met, he refined his knowledge as a winemaker and entrepreneur, managing to purchase the Uccelliera farm in 1986.
