🎅🏻 Last days for Christmas delivery, hurry up! You still have:

Falanghina is one of the most widespread white grape varieties in Campania. Its origins remain mysterious, and it cannot be ruled out that it is a grape introduced into Italy during the first Greek colonization. Over the centuries, the most suitable areas have proven to be the volcanic area of the Phlegraean Fields and the hilly and mountainous region of Sannio.

The name seems to derive from the term “falanga,” which referred to the support poles used for vine cultivation. The grape variety has good vigor and productivity and prefers poor soils of volcanic and tuffaceous origin. For a long time, it was considered just a simple wine, also due to a cultivation with high yields that diluted and depersonalized its characteristics. Today, thanks to a viticulture focused on quality, Falanghina has established itself as one of the most interesting white wines of Southern Italy. The wine expresses aromas of good intensity, with a prevalence of ripe fruit and tropical fruit notes. The sip is fresh and flowing, with lively acidity.
