The Susumaniello grape variety, one of the most beloved reds, is native to Puglia , in southern Italy. Traditionally grown in Salento , it adapts well to the hot, dry climate. The name "Susumaniello", which in the local dialect translates as "little donkey", refers to its abundant production in the first ten years of the vine's life.

Susumaniello produces soft and elegant wines, with hints of black cherry , plum , aromatic spices, tobacco and licorice, thanks to the aging in wood. With a well-structured character, it balances intensity and softness, perfect for red meats and mature cheeses. A wine that conquers and enhances convivial moments.
