An essential collection for true wine lovers

For all wine lovers who want to treat themselves to the experience of savoring the excellence of world oenology, we suggest a selection of unmissable labels, perhaps to be tasted on a special evening, with friends who share the same passion.

Tuscany IGT Masseto - Tenuta Ornellaia

A small plot of only 7 hectares in the heart of Bolgheri cultivated with merlot, which offers one of the most famous and appreciated labels in the world, a true icon of the excellence of Italian wine. A Tuscan red that looks to Saint-Émilion, to the great merlots that make harmony and souplesse their distinctive feature.

Bolgheri DOC Sassicaia - Tenuta San Guido

We stay in Bolgheri for another mythical wine: Sassicaia. It is the wine that created the history of Bolgheri, thanks to the intuition of the Marquis Mario Incisa della Rocchetta. A great lover of Bordeaux wines, he first bet on the potential of this small territory of the Tuscan Maremma to cultivate the noble Bordeaux vines. A blend of cabernet sauvignon (85%) and cabernet franc (15%) that has won over national and international critics.

Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Riserva Tenuta Greppo - Biondi Santi

The Biondi Santi estate represents the noble tradition of Montalcino. This historic winery is responsible for the selection of the best clones of sangiovese grosso, which still form the ampelographic base of Montalcino wines. For the Riserva only the best grapes from Tenuta Greppo are used with the aim of creating a special wine, a true synthesis of refined elegance, complexity and persistence

Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG - Romano Dal Forno

An Amarone that contains power, complexity, elegance and persistence. All the best features of the great Valpolicella wine to be tasted with braised and overcooked or with the classic "pastissada de 'caval".

Pauillac AOC - Château Lafite-Rothschild

Premier Grand Crus Classés in the Bordeaux area in 1855, was born on the fine gravel soils of Pauillac, in the Médoc region. Classic Bordeaux cut of cabernet sauvignon (70%), cabernet franc (13%), merlot and petit verdot, expresses the whole class of the great Bordeaux reds.

Pauillac AOC - Château Mouton Rothschild

Despite the high-sounding name, it is the Bordeaux "parvenu" . It entered the restricted clan of the Premier Grand Crus Classés only in 1973. The estate is located in Pauillac, the famous area of the Médoc and its wines have now reached the fame of the most noble and famous Premier Crus.

Pessac Léonian AOC Château Haut-Brion

Château Haut-Brion has the distinction of being the only Premier Grand Crus Classés of 1855 to be in the Graves area. The wine is a blend of cabernet sauvignon (44%), merlot (43%) and cabernet franc (13%) and expresses all the noble elegance of the best Bordeaux.

Saint-Émilion AOC Château Cheval Blanc

Awarded in 1954 with the title of Premier Grand Cru Classé "A", it is located in the Saint-Émilion area, almost on the border with Pomerol. In this area of Bordeaux, merlot is cultivated with excellent results and in fact the blend consists of cabernet franc (53%) and merlot (47%). It is a velvety, refined and persuasive wine.

Napa Valley AVA Opus One - Opus One Winery

We close with a wine built at the table, born from the collaboration between Robert Mondavi, a leading figure in Californian wine and the Baron Philippe de Rothschild, soul of the famous Château Mouton Rothschild. The dream of creating a great Bordeaux blend in Napa Valley gave birth to the most famous and prestigious wine of the New World.
