Villa Travignoli

A prominent reality in the prestigious Chianti Rùfina area , the Azienda Agricola Travignoli boasts a total area of 90 hectares, mainly cultivated with Sangiovese and partly with Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Merlot, extended in the Florentine vineyards near the confluence of the Arno and Sieve.

The proximity of the rivers gives an ideal climate to the territory, which allows a perfect ripening of the grapes, aimed at the production of excellent quality wines, a faithful mirror of the enological culture of the place, which boasts a millennial tradition that of the Travignoli Company, as evidenced by the discovery of an Etruscan stele dating back to 500 BC, depicting a lavish banquet with overflowing wine jars.

The company, producer of excellent wines, was recognized, in 2011, as "one of the oldest Italian wineries, receiving the " Italy 150 " award for the 150 oldest and longest-running historical companies in Italy". Among the wines of Villa Travignoli there are structured reds, soft and full-bodied, fresh whites based on Chardonnay and balanced Rosé to combine with light cheeses and appetizing cold cuts and vegetables.
