Villa Pillo
Along the wonderful Tuscan roads, near San Gimignano (a wine area well known for its Vernaccia DOCG), in the heart of the "powerful Chianti" there is Villa Pillo, a company dating back to the Middle Ages, of about 500 ht. of cultivated and wooded land. Today owned by the spouses John and Kathe Dyson , Villa Pillo is a company that combines Tuscan tradition with "overseas" innovation that the Dysons wanted and knew how to implement; the land, planted with vines, counts, approximately, 40 ht., mainly planted with international varieties (Syrah, Cabernet and Merlot), but inevitably "hosted" by the landlord: Sangiovese.
It is a wine that comes from a daring and courageous experiment, which expertly mixes passion and technology: thanks to the continuous search for perfection, Villa Pillo has become, in a few years, a reference point for all wine lovers, increasingly present in the more sector magazines for the high quality of its wines.
