Leaped to the headlines to become part of the portfolio of the DIAGEO group, the Santa Vittoria distillery is located in the homonymous Piedmontese town of Roero , where the new gin "Villa Ascenti" is produced, of which all the press in the sector speaks .

Top quality local botanicals such as fresh mint, thyme and other aromatic herbs are distilled within a few hours of harvesting , presenting themselves with fresh and vibrant notes on the nose. On the palate the key ingredient stands out : the Moscato grape enhanced by the copper distillation process, which gives gin its unmistakable territorial imprint characterized by a seductive sweetness just mentioned.

The perfect serve involves pouring 5 cl of Villa Ascenti into a tumbler with ice and Fever Tree Mediterranean tonic water , served with a sprig of thyme and grapes.
