Rum Don Papa
Don Papa is a rum inspired by the character of Dionisio Magbuelas, better known as "Papa" Isio, a key figure in the Philippine Revolution, sugar cane farmer, shaman and great revolutionary hero in the Philippine liberation war from Spanish domination. Don Papa premium rum is obtained from some of the best sugar canes on the Philippine island of Negros, in an environment that, due to its climate, geography and soil, is ideal for their cultivation, from which very sweet and concentrated molasses are obtained. Once distilled, the Don Papa rum ages for 7 years in highly selected ex-bourbon American oak barrels, arranged at the foot of Mount Kanlaon, which will be artfully assembled by the Master Blender.
The result is an amber rum, delicate and fruity on the nose, soft and delicate on the palate, with hints of vanilla and candied fruit. Also available in the 10 Years Old version, in which aging continues for a further 3 years, dark amber color, rich and powerful on the nose, with aromas of dehydrated fruit, cocoa and a hint of oak.
It is a rum inspired by those with a rebellious heart, to those who fight every day because moved by a deep and burning sense of justice, to those who offer themselves generously to others, to those who are courageous.
