Ruffino - Over a century of history of wine in Tuscany

From the dream of producing great quality wines, the two cousins Ruffino, Ilario and Leopoldo founded, in 1877, a small winery near Florence, in the enchanting medieval village of Pontassieve. It quickly became one of the main Italian wine producers, also gaining fame abroad thanks to the importation of the first Chianti labels into the United States.

Over 130 years after its foundation in Pontassieve, the Ruffino Group today owns 6 Tuscan estates located in areas with a high wine-growing vocation; from the Senesi Hills, to the Chianti Classico to the hills of Montalcino and continues to express, through every century and every bottle, the history of the region's territory.

Among the symbolic wines of the cellar, the iconic Chianti Classico Riserva Ducale and Chianti Classico Gran Selezione Riserva Ducale Oro (94 pt.
