Ron Barceló
With the dream of producing the best rum in the world, in 1929 Julián Barceló founded Barceló & Co. in Santo Domingo.His young age allowed him to gain experience in marketing early until the 1950s when the great success of the public consecrated one after the other, all the labels proposed up to identify them as the best examples of rum in the Dominican Republic and the most awarded by the sector organizations.
Among the flagship labels we find the Ron Barceló Gran Añejo aged in barrels used for bourbon and capable of conferring aromas of caramelized hazelnut, chocolate and tobacco to sculpt a semi-dry body with hints of coffee, cream and peanut butter. Also of great caliber is the Ron Barceló Imperial whose refined processing is the result of key choices such as the selection of sugar cane, the use of very pure water and aging in American oak barrels , as well as a skilful mixing capacity, all to obtain the most intense blend with a refined taste. Cherries in alcohol, vanilla and pineapple jam are integrated with denser and woody aromas of hazelnut for a full and balanced body. A meditation rum, enveloping and satisfying is the most noble one can expect.
