Quinta Do Noval is a symbol for Porto production.
Born in 1715 in Vila Nova de Gaia, in the suggestive Douro Valley (Portugal) , the winery owes its name to the vineyard icon of the excellence and quality of its wines, often mentioned in the scores of critics of the caliber of Robert Parker as real top of the range.

In 1994, about a hundred hectares of land were replanted with the noblest vines of the Douro , renewing cultivation and production techniques and finding the maximum expression of that territory on which the company's identity is deeply rooted. Quinta Do Noval hosts, in fact, vines such as Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinto Cao, Tinta Barroca.

Pioneering facts attest to the importance of the company over time in the production of the famous fortified wine: first of all the creation of the Porto LBV (Late Bottled Vintage) , which is bottled 2 years later compared to the traditional Port; the first indications on the label of the average aging of the wines that make up the blend destined for Porto Tawny; the adoption of socalcos , the inclined terraces designed to satisfy different grape varieties.

Among the Port of production of Quinta Do Naval, the famous Porto Vintage Nacional (99/100 pt. Wine Spectator) deserves particular attention, a meditation wine with a large body, elegant and engaging. But also Porto Late Bottled Vintage (93/100 pt. Wine Spectator) and Porto Vintage 2014 .
