Quarta Generazione is the reality born near Barile, in the province of Potenza, from the fourth generation of the Paternoster family - a well-known name in Lucanian viticulture thanks to the figure of Pino Paternoster, a true pioneer of the Aglianico del Volture.
To represent this last experiment of the family is Giovanna, with the help of the oenologist Sergio Paternoster, who in just 3 hectares of vineyards have decided to enhance the extraordinary Lucanian terroir and its main grape, the Aglianico . With the Aglianico del Vulture DOC 2013, the production of this young company started, a departure with a bang, for a wine that demonstrates all the wisdom handed down by the Paternoster generations: already well defined even if it is at its beginning; elegant and intriguing, it already demonstrates the potential of this young reality with the 94 points received by the I Vini di Veronelli guide .
While Il Bianco , also at its absolute onset, is produced from pure Fiano grapes and is characterized by its flavor and aroma, excellent company for an aperitif with character.
