Ottella

Legend has it that eight twins were born in this agricultural court, located in San Benedetto di Lugana, in 1500: hence the emblem that stands on Ottella's bottles, which also recalls the unusual event in the name. The story instead tells of a winery already mentioned in the nineteenth century as the only Veronese producer of Lugana and today an established reality in the Garda area, already winner of some of the most important awards of national and international critics.

The flagship wine of the company is the Lugana Riserva "Molceo" (awarded nine consecutive times of the Tre Bicchieri del Gambero Rosso) : the result of a late harvest, it expresses all the long aging potential of Trebbiano di Lugana, with its bewitching fruity aromas which leave room, with evolution, for hints of hydrocarbons. Marked by freshness and minerality , accompanied by citrus and exotic fruit notes, they are Lugana and Lugana "Le Creete" . Finally, to discover the red "Gemei" , a blend of Corvina Veronese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, with a refined tannic texture that makes it soft and enveloping on the palate.
