Mesa

Here in Sardinia , where nature is generous, fruitful and maternal, in an uncontaminated, wild and pure land, stands Mesa , born thanks to the happy and far-sighted intuition of Gavino Sanna, who founded the company in 2004. The name "Mesa" which in Spanish as well as in Sardinian dialect means "table" is a warm invitation to the values of conviviality, friendship and cordiality. What unites the pieces of this praise for the Sardinian land is wine , which has always been the "greatest sign of man's civilization on earth", as in Hemingway's words. In these places of ancestral memories, in Sant'Anna Arresi, located on the slopes of the valley, there are 78 hectares of vineyards well sheltered from the Mistral and surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea. It is here that labels of great character and personality come to life, starting from the typical vines of the area: Carignano, Cannonau and Vermentino , bottles with emotional, evocative, symbolist names , faithful interpreters of a region with a thousand-year-old memory. Examples of this are Opale with its numinous aura, pure Vermentino of a straw yellow color with golden intensity, Buio Buio , a complex, dense, fleshy and expressive wine, whose grapes come from the Crabì and Cannigonis vineyards and, last but not least, the Cannonau Moro , with notes of red fruit, geranium and violet, on a background of spices.
