Symbol of the Abruzzo wine culture, Masciarelli was born in the late '70s thanks to the passion for wine and the splendid terroir of Gianni Masciarelli, today a true model for the oenological realities in Abruzzo.

The fundamental moment in the production of this beautiful reality is the beginning of Gianni's personal and professional bond with Marina Cvetic, which led Masciarelli to the creation of the renowned company Cru, superb wines that bear the woman's name.

Colli Aprutini Marina Cvetic Merlot by Masciarelli is born in vineyards located in the Aquila municipality of Ofena, in the heart of the suggestive hills of Abruzzo.

It is produced exclusively with Merlot grapes, harvested and selected entirely by hand at the end of September. After fermentation in steel at a controlled temperature, the wine is aged in barrique for 12 months and for another 24 months in the bottle before being placed on the market.

Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Marina Cvetic Iskra di Masciarelli is born in vineyards located in the Teramo municipality of Controguerra, on the Aprutinian hills.

It is produced entirely with Montepulciano grapes, harvested by hand in the first half of October. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine matures in oak barrels for 12 months and refines for another 24 months in the bottle before being put on the market.

Among the most famous of the last 10 years are the Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Marina Cvetic (3 Gambero Rosso glasses 2007, 2009, 2010, 2014, 2015, 2016) and the Trebbiano d'Abruzzo Castello di Semivicoli (ed. 2007, 2008, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013), while Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo Villa Gemma is one of the few Italian rosé wines to have received the highest recognition of the guide (2017 edition).
