Lis Neris

Lis Neris is the company that tells the passion of his patron, Alvaro Pecorari , a man of great wisdom and caution who has been able to grasp the characteristics of his territory and to forge a stylistic imprint over the years resulting from a long experience and of incessant listening to nature. We are in Gorizia, in Friuli, between the Slovenian and northern border and the right bank of the Isonzo river in the south, in a valley where pebbles , called claps , prevail, which retain the daytime heat to release it during the night, favoring maturation , and affected by the Bora wind that generates temperature excursions that can slow it down, ensuring an accumulation of aromas and flavors.

The wines are a pure expression of the territory: alongside the Traditional wines, whose grapes come from the youngest vineyards and are vinified entirely in steel, there are the Selections , produced instead with grapes from the "historical" vineyards of the company and partially aged in French oak tonneaux preserving the authenticity of the fruit as much as possible, and the Reserves , the pinnacle of quality for Lis Neris, the result of extremely accurate selections and perfectly balanced blending between grapes of different vines and grapes from different places of production , exploring its combination, and able to tell a unique Friuli, an example of a spasmodic search of the highest quality.
