Le Paradou

A very evocative semantic ambiguity, Le Paradou, in the ancient Provençal "langue d'oc", meant "Paradise" but also the old windmills that dotted the landscape. Le Paradou is in fact an old mill that rises between the Rhone Valley and Provence , belonging to the Chaudière family, owner of the award - winning Château Pesquié. Here, Frédéric & Alexandre Chaudière, the latest generation of the family, have created a new estate, which maintains faith in the production philosophy of the parent company, oriented towards the enhancement of altitude terroirs.

It is in fact on the highlands of Monte Sainte Victoire, famous for having been immortalized by Cézanne in over 70 of his paintings, that ready-to-drink wines are born from local varieties such as Grenache, Cinsault and Viogner, in addition to the iconic Côtes de Provence Rosé which takes the name of the estate and it is a wine that originates from vines grown on soils of calcareous origin and red clayey sands, with a pleasantly mineral flavor.
