La Vis

The winery bears in the name and logo its link with the territory and its ancient wine tradition: the name, which is the same as the town in which it is located, originates from the Avisio stream that descends from the peaks with the characteristic impetuosity of the nature of this splendid and daring natural scenery, well represented by the Latin Vis, synonymous with strength , contained in it.

The production area consists of vineyards located in Trentino and which extend from the hills of Lavis, Sorni and Meano, the characteristic terraces of the Valle di Cembra to reach Isera in Vallagarina, as well as some plots in South Tyrol.

The "Ritratti" wines are made from grapes from vineyards suited to the hilly areas of Lavis, Cembra and Meano. This area offers, due to the great heterogeneity of microclimatic conditions, a very rich environmental variability. The concept of selection was the embryonic nucleus around which the Ritratti project was structured.

The Classici di Cantina LaVis represent an accurate selection of the most representative wines of Trentino, through which the authentic link between the grape variety, the territory and the people is expressed.
