La Bollina
La Bollina is a modern and innovative Monferrato winery, housed in a nineteenth-century liberty villa immersed in 120 hectares of property and immense chestnut woods. In this evocative panorama, this pioneering cellar rises, with its 28 hectares of vineyards, mostly cultivated in Cortese, an autochthonous grape from which the Gavi is obtained. The other cultivated varieties are Chardonnay, Nebbiolo and Barbera. Today the Bollina is oriented towards the production of wines of the highest quality profile, with an innovative style and a soft profile, marked by a remarkable balance and freshness.
The labels could not be more suggestive, with symbolic references to two great cyclists born between the hills of Piedmont and Liguria: Costante Girardengo and Fausto Coppi. Examples are Tinetta, a rosé made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes from Alto Monferrato as well as Gavi DOCG, born from a vine cultivated since the eighteenth century, the Cortese. Could not miss the 96 points of Luca Maroni, to testify the commitment in the enhancement of the territory combined with an avant-garde approach.
