L'Astemia Pentita

The’Astemia Pentita is the ambitious project born from the idea of Sandra Vezza  who in the name reveals an afterthought she experienced, to go from teetotaler to founder of one of the most well-known, pop and exuberant wineries in the Barolo territory. Moved by a deep passion for wine and for the Langhe region, Sandra decided to make this dream a reality, giving birth to one of the  mostù exclusive realities in the province of Cuneo.

The architecture of the winery is a declaration of love for pop art: two large volumes resting on the Cannubi hillside recall two boxes of wine and dominate the landscape, which is not fenced off except by the vineyards, underlining the strong connection with the landscape. Among the flagship wines, we cannot fail to mention the Barolo L'Astemia Pentita (91 pt James Suckling): 100% Nebbiolo, è the result of a red vinification with 30-35 days of maceration, followed by aging in barrels for a full 36 months. Also of interest are the Nebbiolo (92 pt James Suckling), a unique, harmonious, and elegant wine, and the Tiradòss, a blend of Barbera and Dolcetto grapes, medium structured, austere and balanced. Perfect for accompanying pasta dishes seasoned with meat sauces and stewed meats.
