Grattamacco

Podere Grattamacco is the estate of the Colle Massari group of the Tipa family, located in Lungagnano, on the top of a hill overlooking the sea, between Castagneto Carducci and Bolgheri , in an area particularly suited for the production of great red wines. In fact, due to its singular position , the vineyards can enjoy a dry and temperate climate, with considerable temperature variations especially at the end of summer.

From these conditions arise perfectly representative wines of the extraordinary terroir of Bolgheri: the Bolgheri Superiore Grattamacco , a wine of character, consistent and complex, perfect to combine with wild boar meat, braised braised meats and medium-hard hard cheeses; Bolgheri Rosso , excellent wine throughout the meal, which goes well with traditional Tuscan cuisine. Finally, the Bolgheri Vermentino Grattamacco , obtained by partial fermentation in barriques, a white wine of great balance and pleasantness which demonstrates all the potential of the Vermentino grape variety which here finds the ideal habitat to express itself at its best, indicated with all fish preparations, appetizers Tuscan based crostini and salami and soft cheeses.
