The great red wines of Campania

Campania is one of the Italian regions that can boast one of the most ancient and noble traditions in the field of viticulture. Its wines were already famous in Roman times and still today, they represent some of the best excellences of our oenology. In particular, red wines can make use of excellent autochthonous varieties, such as Aglianico and Piedirosso or international grape varieties of Bordeaux origin, perfectly adapted to the Mediterranean climate of Campania.

Amalfi Coast DOC Furore Rosso Riserva - Marisa Cuomo

Marisa Cuomo is one of the most famous "Women of Wine" in Italy. His estate is located in the splendid landscape of the Amalfi Coast, with terraced vineyards clinging to the rock and suspended between the blue sky and the sea. With piedirosso and aglianico grapes in equal parts, it produces its flagship red: the Costa d'Amalfi DOC Furore Rosso Riserva, a wine with a harmonious and seductive profile.

Campania IGT Terra di Lavoro - Galardi

From the vineyards cultivated on the slopes of the ancient Raccamorfina volcano, a red is born that combines history of the territory and international profile. The blend is typically autochthonous: Aglianico (80%) and Piedirosso (20%), but the characteristics of the wine suggest above all the great Bordeaux reds. An intense and complex wine, which blends the vigorous power of Aglianico in an elegant balance.

Colli di Salerno IGT - Montevetrano

When a wine is awarded twenty times with the Three Glasses of the Gambero Rosso Wine Guide, it does not need many presentations. Loved by Robert Parker and international critics, it is a Bordeaux blend, produced in the Cilento sun with cabernet sauvignon, merlot and Aglianico.

Taurasi DOCG Quattro Confini Vineyard - Benito Ferrara

Born in the province of Avellino, from vineyards cultivated at over 600 meters above sea level, this pure Aglianico with an elegant, intense and persistent face. The fine and floral bouquet announces a wine of great structure and persistence.

Taurasi DOCG Radici - Mastroberardino

An emblematic wine, which expresses in the glass all the history and tradition of the Irpinia territory, interpreted by a great master of the Aglianico like Piero Mastrobernardino. A deep and austere Taurasi, elegant and persistent.

Taurasi DOCG Riserva Piano di Montevergine - Feudi di San Gregorio

It is the red symbol of Feudi di San Gregorio, who produce this Riserva from the “Piano di Montevergine” vineyard, a real company cru, which offers excellent quality grapes. An Aglianico that seduces with its refined finesse with balsamic, spicy and mineral notes.
