Frescobaldi

The commitment to viticulture and agriculture in general has always represented the characteristic aspect of the Frescobaldi family, which has been producing wine in Tuscany for seven hundred years, precisely since the early fourteenth century.

A history of wine which had the merit of introducing the first vines of Carbernet Sauvignon, Merlot Pinot Noir and Chardonnay to Tuscany, and of knowing how to enhance the wine-growing areas of the region, from Chianti Classico to Montalcino, from Maremma to Chianti Rufina, uniting the tradition to more innovative wines such as Alìe, the iconic rosé of Tenuta Ammiraglia, with a light, pure color, with soft ruby reflections, celebrating its tenth harvest with the 2023 vintage.

For the occasion, Marchesi Frescobaldi celebrates its rosé, dedicating to it a poetic passage inspired by epic poems: the Alìade. “Alìe, nymph of the sea, shining, with a gentle soul. He lived on an island and when he saw sailors sailing, he lent them the waves of his sea. She handed him an elixir, pink and delicate. Then, after a laugh, he returned to the rock to wait for another lucky one.”
