Rum El Dorado is an authentic brand with a long history. Rum production in Guyana began in 1670 Rum El Dorado is produced exclusively from molasses obtained from locally grown sugar cane DEMERARA - The sugar cane is born on the banks of the Demerara River, in one of the 3 counties of the state of Guyana , in South America.

The unique stills, the Coffey wooden column and the wooden Pot Still contribute to the uniqueness of El Dorado rum. El Dorado rums age for years in oak barrels until they reach the complexity and aromatic depth that characterizes them. El Dorado rums are aged from 3 to 25 years and differ in "blended" and "single still" rums. The years of aging on the label refers to the youngest rum in the blend.
