Cusumano

One of the most interesting realities in Sicily, Cusumano extends its vineyards in diversified geographical areas that well represent the whole of Sicily: from the estates in the Palermo area to Butera, from Pachino to the Guardiola district, on Etna. For almost twenty years, Cusumano has been collecting an elegant set of products, very different in identity and belonging but united by the ability to fully reflect the geographical and cultural characteristics of the areas concerned.

For the white grape varieties, Salealto (Tre Bicchieri) is definitely a firm and decisive expression of Sicilian power, a blend of Grillo, Insolia, Zibibbo that ages for 10 months before giving hints of dried fruit and white flowers, notes of apricot for a soft and enveloping taste. Less demanding, the Shamaris (92 pt Maroni) with a savory and fresh touch, while the Etna Bianco Alta Mora (Tre Bicchieri) , with its hints of flint and light peppery notes, speaks of a refined composure in the sip. An explosive Nero d'Avola could not be missing such as Disueri (92 pt Suckling) a riot of red fruits such as blackberry and cherry, seductive on the palate and long persistence.
