Located among the splendid DOCG Chianti Rùfina , on the outskirts of Florence, the Colognole farm is a historic business, owned by the Spalletti Trivelli family for generations, which produces extraordinary wines with a strong and recognizable personality . Elegant and long-lived wines such as the Chianti Rùfina Collezione , produced exclusively with Sangiovese grapes grown at 350 meters above sea level. The nose reveals pleasant hints of violets and red fruit, enriched by well-harmonized notes of wood, deriving from the passage in cask. A full-flavored wine with good structure. Or the Riserva del Don (90 pt Maroni) , a Chianti Rùfina Riserva that ages for 18 months in Slavonian oak and in French Allier oak barrels. With a deep ruby red color and a floral scent of violet and cherry, enriched with spicy and balsamic notes.

Not to forget the Toscana IGT Le Lastre , a blend of Sangiovese, Syrah and Merlot, macerated for 12 - 15 days at a controlled temperature of 27 ° with frequent aging. The Sangiovese ages in Slavonian oak barrels for about 1 year, while the Syrah and Merlot age in small Allier oak barrels, half new, for about 10 months.
