After discovering an intense love for wine in Europe and despite his Californian origins, Charles Smith is that alternative character who, after leading rock bands around the world, meets in 1999 a producer in the Walla Walla region who will convince him to producing wine in first person. Much more than a simple passion with a first production in 2001, the title of best winemaker of the year by the Food & Wine magazines and by the prestigious Wine Enthusiast. Wines of great impact also thanks to modern and captivating labels designed by Rikke Korff, historical friend of Charles and internationally renowned designer.
