Tenute Silvio Nardi is one of those companies that made the history of Brunello di Montalcino . In fact, it was the year 1950 when Silvio Nardi, an Umbrian businessman, bought the first Casale del Bosco estate in Montalcino, effectively becoming one of the first "foreigners" to understand the real potential of the territory of Montalcino , a town at the time semi-unknown. After having produced the first bottle of Brunello in 1958, four years later he decides to take over a second farm, the Tenuta di Manachiara, near Castelnuovo dell'Abate.

Casale del Bosco is located to the west , where the precious Brunello di Montalcino is born with a powerful and decisive character, with a great structure and able to best respect the promises of Sangiovese. The Rosso di Montalcino is also very interesting, more slender and of great intensity, capable of surprising with its olfactory vein of tobacco and spices, which make it even more interesting and dramatic.
