Cantina di Montalcino
In a portion of land that unravels between Mount Amiata and the valleys of the Orcia, Asso, and Ombrone, along the splendid route of the Eroica, there is Montalcino, a fascinating Sienese village steeped in history, with ancient origins and illustrious Etruscan ancestors. Here was born Cantina di Montalcino, a winemaking reality with more than 100 winegrowers, who for over 40 years has been the only cooperative in the area with 160 hectares of vineyards, surrounded by a truly suggestive panorama, which overlooks a hill among woods of oaks.
A masterpiece of architecture in perfect harmony with the Montalcino landscape, the company produces with dedication Brunello, one of the most renowned wines in the world. Full-bodied and balanced wines, whose tannins are perfectly integrated with the fruit which is more mature in Brunello, after a refinement in Slavonian oak barrels of at least 2 years. Brunello di Montalcino is an expression of this, a wine that is gentle with its hints of blackberry, black currant and cherry, the ideal companion for your autumn evenings. A really interesting reality, which surprised us for its style and for the passion with which it takes care of Sangiovese.
