Cantina Bolzano
From the peaks of the Gewürztraminer to the Lagrein valleys
Cantina Bolzano is the youngest cooperative winery in South Tyrol , born from the merger of the historic cellars Gries and Santa Maddalena , specialized in the production of wines from native South Tyrolean grapes.
The over 200 members, descendants of noble and peasant families, united by a passion for wine, cultivate fifteen varieties of grapes on different soils, which lead to the vinification of unique wines with an unmistakable regional character . White wines such as Sauvignon and Gewürztraminer are born from higher altitudes, while in the valley floor there is the undisputed kingdom of Lagrein , which is the real flagship of the cellar .
