Canaima Gin is a project born from DUSA (Distilerias Unidas SA), the Venezuelan distillery producing the iconic Rum Diplomático, and the name Canaima derives from the splendid natural park of Venezuela, already a World Heritage Site.

Gin Canaima represents the deepest Amazon Forest, a territory that holds unexplored wonders, which has remained intact for centuries, where climate and soil allow the growth of unique botanicals. In this Gin we find the ancient heritage in the knowledge of the edible fruit and the use of herbs that the Pemon Indians have passed on for generations. There is something mystical in a sip of Canaima, which transports the drinker to an ancestral and pure land.

Canaima, aware of the damage and dangers of deforestation, collaborates and supports the indigenous communities of the Colombian Amazon; planting trees trying to combat this phenomenon. For this project Canaima allocates 10% of sales and through its donations to foundations, creates sustainable jobs that help preserve the culture and knowledge of the communities, while guaranteeing a monetary income so that different families can feed their families. their children. Canaima is a partner of the Fundaciòn Tierra Viva, which wants to promote sustainable development and increase the quality of life of the indigenous tribes of Venezuela.
