The Allegrini family, which has always covered pre-eminent soils in the local community, has been producing high quality wine in its historic Valpolicella cellar for over 400 years, but it is under the guidance of the brothers Walter, Marilisa and Franco that the company has made protagonist of one of the most successful stories in the world of Italian wine.

The year 1983 runs when, after Giovanni's death, affectionately defined as "the spider of the barrels" for the agility with which he moved in the cellar, his three children, then just over twenty years old, find themselves inheriting the company.

Gathering the industrious spirit and passion of their father, the Allegrini brothers , while keeping the company anchored to a rigorous tradition, will immediately prove to be far-sighted on the evolution of times and taste: it will be Franco, today considered one of the greatest winemakers Italians, to introduce significant innovations into the company in the production of the key wines of Valpolicella, from the use of the barrique, to the revision of the drying and the "ripasso" technique at the base of Palazzo della Torre , a wine included six times in the Top 100 by Wine Spectator.
