Albert Meyer
It happened at the end of the 1800s.
Alfred Gratien had just bought vineyards in Epernay when he met Albert Meyer, Alsatian and winemaker. They began a fruitful collaboration that would last over time.
The symbol of this long friendship is Albert Meyer's Champagne Brut Cuvée Privée. Obtained from a careful selection of grapes and a good balance of aromas and flavours, in just one sip you can appreciate the elegance of Chardonnay, the fruitiness of Meunier and the persistence of the Pinot Noir. In the glass the wine appears pale golden yellow in color, with a fine and persistent perlage. The nose is delicate, elegant and balanced, there are aromas of citrus and white fruits, as well as slightly toasted notes. On the palate, breadth and vivacity are balanced and prolonged in an expression of round and distinctive elegance. Excellent with appetizers and seafood cuisine.
