A6Mani

Three women, six hands, a single passion: this is the basis of the A6mani project, which involves several farms in Salento, whose common will is to demonstrate the potential of these lands and its native vines. The vineyards depart from the center of Manduria and reach the Ionian coast in the southern part of the province of Taranto, distributing themselves in districts , areas geographically close to each other but which differ in the period of sunshine, amount of rainfall and ventilation conditions. Campofreddo is one of the most popular districts . The soil is sandy and the climate so dry that aridoculture is necessary. Here Primitivo, cultivated as a sapling in vineyards with high density of vines per hectare, offers a very low yield, which translates into a high sugar concentration accompanied by a marked acidity, the daughter of the age of the plants. Thus was born the Primitivo di Manduria Riserva "Concura" , a wine with a rich and complex structure, counted, with its 98/99 points, among the best red wines in Italy by Luca Maroni .
