Contacto Alvarinho is produced by the Portuguese company Anselmo Mendes and was born in the regions of Monção and Melgaço.

The wine is made up exclusively of Alvarinho grapes, harvested manually and immediately brought to the cellar for destemming and subsequent short maceration on the skins. Once squeezed, the must undergoes a brief clarification and is subsequently fermented at 14-18 ° C. Finally the wine refines on the fine lees for at least 3 months.

The wine comes from Alvarinho, Loureiro and Avesso grapes, harvested by hand, de-stemmed and softly pressed. The vinification takes place in thermo-regulated steel tanks at low temperatures (12-16 ° C), followed by a period of aging on the lees of 4 months with frequent bâtonnage.
