Terredora, Greco
Terredora was born in 1978 in the town of Montefusco, the ancient capital of the Principality of Ultra. The winery is located in the magical natural scenery of Serra di Montefusco, a productive terroir of Irpina, Fiano di Avellino and Greco di Tufo. The winery uses innovative cultivation methods, reinterpreting tradition in a modern key.
Terredora aims to enhance the historic indigenous vines of Campania, perfectly representing the wine heritage of this extraordinary region. The ideal climatic conditions and the temperature variations of this area give Terredora wines authenticity and typicality, revealing themselves to be intense, elegant and pleasantly fruity.
Greco is an ancient white grape variety, which was most likely introduced in the lands of Campania by the first Greek colonists who landed in southern Italy. It is a grape of great quality, widespread throughout Campania and in particular in Irpinia and in the Benevento area. It expresses itself particularly well on volcanic soils, where it gives intense, structured, complex and very long-lived whites.
