Montina
Montina was founded in 1987 in Monticelli Brusati, a village located in a beautiful piece of land in the North Eastern area of Franciacorta, in Lombardy. The first records of Montina date back to 1620, when the estate was owned by a noble family from Brescia headed by Benedetto Montini, the ancestor of Pope Paul VI, from whose surname the name of the company derives. Montina follows the production method of Franciacorta, which involves the use of noble grape varieties and prescribes exclusively hand harvesting of the grapes, allowing the creation of fine and elegant wines, capable of preserving the organoleptic characteristics of each grape variety used.
