Cantine Ceci
Since 1938 Cantine Ceci has brought Lambrusco from Bassa Parmense to tables throughout Italy and, to date, around the world. Initially, the Lambrusco produced by Otello Ceci was served as an accompaniment to the dishes of his tavern, but in a short time it became the protagonist of the Italian table. Otello then decided to transform his trattoria into a cellar and from here began the success story of Cantine Ceci. To spread the name of Cantine Ceci throughout Italy and abroad were the sons of Otello: Bruno and Giovanni, with "Terre Verdiane", a wine that boasts the IGT designation of Lambrusco dell'Emilia and which in a short time has been successful all over the world, not only for its excellent quality, but also for its unmistakable packaging, a bottle with a high and slender profile, with a flush cap. Another typical wine of the Ceci tradition is Lambrusco Otello, in homage to the founder of the cellars, which stands out for its intense taste and its fruity notes. Considered the company's masterpiece, it has won numerous awards, including the Cinque Grappoli di Bibenda. The culture of the territory, the attention to quality and the passion for good wine have also been handed down to Otello's grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Alessandro, Maria Paola, Elisa, Chiara and Maria Teresa, who since 1996 have led what has become a solid and structured reality, maintaining the same convivial atmosphere that was perceived in Otello's trattoria.
Red Wine Cantine Ceci
The red wine par excellence of Cantine Ceci is Lambrusco, typical of the province of Parma. Among the most important wines of Cantine Ceci we find the Otello Ceci line, the Terre Verdiane wines and the Bruno Lambrusco Brut. The wines of Cantine Ceci are characterized by an intense, refined and fresh taste, able to play with various combinations. The Otello Nero di Lambrusco 1813 is one of the most important wines of the company, which has been so successful that it has changed the image of Lambrusco in the world, transforming it from a popular wine to a high quality wine. With its unmistakable intense ruby red color, Lambrusco Otello presents itself as a satisfying wine both to the nose and to the taste: its notes of berries and cherries, as well as the floral hints of violet are enhanced in a long and spicy. A wine of such personality comes from the most intense variety of Lambrusco, Lambrusco Maestri. Its grapes are then fermented in steel with selected yeasts. From Lambrusco Maestri also comes the Spumante Brut Bruno Emilia IGT Cantine Ceci, which strongly recalls the original Lambrusco of Bruno Ceci and stands out not only for its freshness and good flavor, but also for the label created by Riccardo Guasco who portrays Bruno Ceci riding his motorcycle. A touch of originality that you can find on Vino.com. Terre Verdiane, the wine that Cantine Ceci dedicated to Giuseppe Verdi, is a dense red wine produced from Lambrusco Maestri and Lambrusco Marani grapes. It has a fruity and floral olfactory profile with herbaceous hints and a taste profile with a spicy and mineral finish. A wine definitely worth trying, available on Vino.com.
