Pommard

Pommard AOC appellation is located in the center of the Côte de Beaune, near the famous Volnay vineyards. It covers about 320 hectares, with beautiful east, north-east exposures. The soils are characterized by calcareous soils, which insist on a marly substratum, very suitable for quality viticulture.

At the heart of the Pommard AOC appellation is the most valuable part of the vineyard, classified as Premier Cru. In Pommard red pinot noir wines of the highest quality are produced, which have excellent ageing potential.
