Venissa
Venissa represents a precious surviving testimony of Native Venice, an emotion rich in history that originates in vineyards located on the island of Mazzorbo, in the unique terroir offered by the Venetian Lagoon. This singular white wine comes from the vinification of the historic Dorona white grape variety, a very widespread variety at the time of the Doges but now at risk of extinction, of which the Bisol family strongly wanted its recovery. The Venissa is a collector's wine whose bottles have all been numbered and finished by hand: the label has been replaced by a gold leaf applied by hand in the furnaces of the Moretti glass factory in Murano. The uniqueness in the national wine scene was also recognized by the oenologist Luigi Veronelli, who made the company the only producer of a Veneto white wine awarded the Super Three Stars.
