Robert Weil
Robert Weil is the name of an esteemed Rheingau winery and its founder, who bought the first vineyards in 1867 on the hills of Kiedrich, Hesse. With a far-sighted vision and an absolute dedication to quality, it soon became known internationally: its Spätlese and Auslese wines landed on the tables of important European emperors together with the great Bordeaux whites. Today the property can count on 90 hectares of vineyards with more than 50 years of age, cultivated exclusively with Riesling. Wilhelm, the fourth generation of the Weil family, paves the way for modern winemaking, with a delicate transport carried out by gravity, the use of only indigenous yeasts and careful monitoring of each stage of fermentation. The profile of the wines obtained is authentic, elegant and complex, of great finesse.
