Ricasoli 1141
The Ricasoli name has been linked to wine since 1141, the year in which the Castello di Brolio, located in Gaiole in Chianti and now the company headquarters, became the property of the family. It was Baron Bettino Ricasoli, in the 19th century, the proponent of one of the most famous wines in the world: Chianti.
Barone Ricasoli is today the largest winery in the Chianti Classico area. In its state-of-the-art cellars, located on the hills near the castle, the same pursuit of excellence begun in the 19th century is pursued, experimenting and innovating, with the mission of enhancing the unique characteristics of this territory.
