Peyrot
Peyrot spirits are born from the love for the land and for viticulture, a passion handed down from generation to generation, since 1893. In fact, in that year, Jean Baptiste Peyrot founded the family business and defines its values. In 1956, however, the turning point took place: Jean and Mathilde, the grandparents of the current owners, produced their first Cognacs . Since then, the land owned by the family begins to grow in size, reaching the current 25 hectares, within the "Grande Fine Champagne" appellation. All this demonstrates the success achieved by the Cognacs of the Maison Peyrot: from the famous Cognac VSOP François Peyrot, sold for the first time in 1971, to the Williams pear Cognac, as well as the coffee one, all produced with the same care and attention to detail. . In fact, right from the work in the vineyard, the company seeks innovative solutions to respect the environment and give its distillates a natural scent and taste: the use of pesticides and chemical fertilizers has been eliminated in favor of grassing. In the cellar, in the midst of the scents of evaporated alcohol and the aromas of wood, the distillation takes place and the different varieties of Cognac are born.
Brandy Peyrot
Peyrot brandies , as produced in the Cognac region of northern France, are called Cognac. More precisely, the Peyrot Cognacs are born in one of the "crus" of the region, from which the finest products come: the sub-area of the "Grande Champagne". Here, the Peyrot winery cultivates its Les Bergeronnettes vineyard, with the aim of obtaining the best grapes, but always with the utmost respect for the environment, using technologies that favor the balance between local fauna and flora. In the cellar, distillation takes place with a particular type of alembic called "charentais", to concentrate the most delicate aromas and flavors. Aging then takes place in French oak barrels and the duration varies according to the type of Cognac produced. Among the most loved Cognacs of the Maison, we cannot fail to mention the Liqueur Poire Williams & Cognac, a fine blend of Cognac 1er Cru Grande Champagne and Williams pear juice from the Black Forest.
