Perrier Jouët
Perrier-Jouët is the historic Maison that has been producing Champagne with a unique and refined style since 1811. The Perrier-Jouët vineyards enclose the best parcels of the Côte de Blanc to achieve the prodigy of creating Champagne of great finish and aesthetic attention to detail. It could not be otherwise since part of the prestige of Perrier-Jouët is linked to the history of the Maison Belle Epoque, the birthplace of the founders which in 2017 was restored to beauty thanks to careful restoration in perfect Art Nouveau style. This is the location where today the Perrier-Jouët company builds and shares a unique experience for its guests by combining guided tours of the environments with gourmet dinners supported by the power of Champagne. It was Pierre-Nicolas Perrier and Rose-Adélaïde Jouët who passionate lovers of art and nature decided to enhance their botanical and enological knowledge to create a Champagne house that could stand out over time. Among the distinctive features of Perrier-Jouët there is the passion for Chardonnay and the celebration of its potential in terms of freshness and aromatic charge. The Perrier-Jouët champagne always retains a floral touch that from the finesse of the olfactory scents becomes exuberant on the palate with richness and complexity. In addition to Perrier-Jouët Blanc de Blancs and Belle Epoque Blanc de Blancs, this stylistic choice is enhanced by precious cuvées selected from the best crus to integrate the presence of Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier . The Pinot Noir suitable for giving body and structure comes from the Montagne de Reims area, while the Vallée de la Marne gives rise to Pinot Meunier. With the Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut we are facing a revolution in terms of dosage because against the ancient custom of adding up to 40% sugar to the final product, the Maison Perrier-Jouët decided already in 1846 to use only 5% .
