MorisFarms
Spain, the forest, the charcoal burners, the woodcutters and the rows of mules loaded with wood, the industrial revolution, the mines, the orchards, a Florentine, finally, the wine that synthesizes everything. The MorisFarms company takes care of all these peculiarities, successfully trying to recreate them in its products. The Moris family settled in Maremma, in Grosseto, along the footsteps of the Presidios of Philip II of Spain and since the nineteenth century has contributed to the industrial development of Italian society. The turning point in the wine sector, however, began in 1977 when Adolfo Parentini married Caterina Moris and completely changed the face of the company, which from a simple farm began to equip itself to become a place where high-level viticulture is carried out. In 1988 Adolfo and Caterina presented Moris Farm at Vinitaly and, after careful evaluations, decided to create a wine that symbolizes the farm, the Avvoltore , which takes its name from the hill of the same name in which Parentini had believed and invested a lot. MorisFarms and its Avvoltore were definitively consecrated in 1988 by Wine Spectator who celebrates a company that has the courage to market its most prestigious wine only in the best years. The courage of this family in foreseeing and manifesting certain characteristics in their wines, such as the softness of the tannin and the wholesomeness of the sea wind, has expanded new frontiers of the market and of enological taste, sought after and celebrated all over the world.
