The history of the Chiarlo winery has ancient roots, which sink into the territory of a Piedmont that is very different from that of today. Here, in 1939, the brothers Pietro and Felice Chiarlo invest all their savings in the countryside, tilling the land and creating terraces by hand to plant the vineyards. Two visionary pioneers who immediately understand the potential of these lands and transmit all their passion to Michele, son of Pietro, who becomes an oenologist studying alongside those who would become sacred monsters of wine such as Renato Ratti , Franco Ziliani and Giacomo Tachis. Michele maintains a traditional approach to wine, aimed at enhancing the indigenous grapes of the Langhe and Monferrato, obtained exclusively from its own vineyards and vinified in purity.
