Malfy
The Malfy distillery has always had only one goal: to convey the spirit of the Italian “dolce vita” through its gins . As the name suggests, Malfy gins take us on a journey to the elegant Amalfi Coast, among its best botanicals: juniper, lemons, oranges and sun-ripened grapefruits. In addition to their fresh and citrusy taste, Malfy gins are widely appreciated as they all carry the initials GQDI (Quality Gin Distilled in Italy), which certifies their quality and authenticity. A recognition obtained thanks to the skill of its producers, the Vergnano family, who in 1992 founded the Torino Distillati in Moncalieri, in the province of Turin. Moncalieri is an area renowned for the production of wines and liqueurs of excellence and the Torino Distillati has fueled its fame, with products with attention to every detail: from the careful selection of raw materials to the choice of packaging. The distillery offers a choice of four different types of Malfy gins: Malfy with Lemon, Malfy Pink, Malfy with Orange and Original Malfy, all available on Vino.com!
Gin Malfy
Gin Malfy is a premium gin based on citrus and juniper harvested by hand, with the addition of Monviso water. The distillation technique used is vacuum-packed or cold, a method that guarantees the freshness of the botanicals and maintains their original flavor. All types of Malfy gin have an alcohol content of 41% vol. and have a fresh and lively flavor, which varies according to the choice of citrus fruits. The Original Malfy Gin, for example, is dry, almost salty on the palate. Then add the flavor of juniper, licorice and a slight hint of lemon. On the nose we can also distinguish the aromas of coriander and anise. In the other Malfy gins it is possible to perceive more the scent and flavor of citrus fruits, such as grapefruit, blood orange and lemon. Another strong point of Gin Malfy is their characteristic bottle, decorated with the colors of the citrus fruits used, a reference to an Italian summer to be enjoyed all year round.
